Royal biographer and commentator Angela Levin says Meghan Markle “wanted to get her own back” on the late Queen when naming her daughter Lilibet. Ms Levin's comments come as a new book called Charles III: New King, New Court, The Inside Story, written by Robert Hardman, alleges that the Queen was "furious" after Meghan and Harry used her private nickname. Queen Elizabeth reportedly told Palace aides, "I don't own the palaces or the paintings, only my name, and now they've taken that." “People have said, oh well, you know Meghan wanted to be friendly, I think quite the opposite,” Ms Levin told Sky News host Paul Murray. “I think she wanted to get her own back, and I think this was number two, which followed the incredibly phoney, exaggerated curtsey that she did on Netflix.”
