Menendez brothers: Journalist who covered their case calls for their release

Lyle and Erik Menendez have been in prison for more than 30 years for killing their parents, but L.A. prosecutors say they’ll review new evidence that could impact the brothers' case. The brothers have said they killed their parents out of self-defence after enduring a lifetime of physical, emotional and sexual abuse from them. The new evidence presented in the petition includes a letter written by Erik that his attorneys say corroborates the allegations that he was sexually abused by his father.
