Mental health experts want a multi-sectoral approach to the prevention of mental health illnesses.

Mental health experts are advocating for a multi -sectoral approach in preventing mental health problems by strengthening provision of counselling and treatment services. In 2023, a report released by Uganda counselling Association and ministry of health, showed that 14 million Ugandans are mentally sick.
