MICE tourism becoming a niche for Barbados

Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions, MICE tourism has become a notable niche for Barbados. Given its potential, the Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated is working to establish the island as a hub for corporate events. Chief Product Development Officer, Marsha Alleyne says the BTMI is committed to partnering with stakeholders across various sectors to fuel growth. She was speaking during a reception at Ilaro court for attendees on island for the second Caribbean Dental Sleep Medicine Conference. Ms. Alleyne says efforts to promote the island as a year-round travel destination have been paying off.
