Migration crisis: Number of people entering UK irregularly down 26%

The Home Office has released its latest immigration figures which show irregular arrivals into the UK are down in the last year. Almost 39,000 arrived in the UK irregularly in the year up to June 2024, which is a 26% drop. Small boat arrivals are down 29% for the same period in the previous year.
