Whooper swans, geese, and other waterfowl were spotted in Quanwan Wetlands, northwest China's Qinghai Province. There were eight species and more than 6,600 overwintering waterbirds at Qinghai Lake this winter. Some whooper swans were seen in Caofeidian of Tangshan City in north China's Hebei Province, during their migration.
