Minister defends budget allocated to PM's Office
Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey stoutly defended the Prime Minister's Office multi-million dollars allocated Budget which was criticised by the Opposition Leader Ralph Thorne during the Budget. Speaking during the BLP St. George North Constituency branch meeting at Cuthbert Moore Primary School Minister Humphrey noted that the Child Protection Amendment Bill is to come to parliament soon as protection of the children remains Government primary concern. He chided the commentary of the Opposition noting that numerous social programmes resided under that office that desperately needed that money to function.
