Minister of Sports Charles Griffith says he is pleased with the continued work on the new Ryan Brathwaite Track at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex. The new track has already been laid and the marking of lanes is expected to begin tomorrow. Work on the track started in early February which forced NAPSAC and BSSAC officials to postpone the premier junior athletic meet on the island by two weeks. Today, Griffith along with Senior Youth Commissioner responsible for Community Sport Shawn Burke and UWI's Director of Marketing and Communications Chelston Lovell toured the facility and provided the media with an update.
