Minister Responds To SLTU Claims Of Disrespect

The St Lucia Teachers Union continues to take issue with Ministry of Education’s approach to the review of the Draft Education Bill and it has expressed its displeasure to the Education Minister, Shawn Edward. The union believes that it was not consulted enough on the drafting of the new legislation and that it has been disrespected by the Education Ministry. The Education Minister has responded by expressing his desire for a productive relationship with the St Lucia Teachers Union.
