Minister wants a shift from elitism in education system

Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Kay McConney wants a shift from the elitism and classism in the education system. She made it clear it will not serve Barbados well going forward. Ms. McConney was at the time addressing the launch of Education Month at a church service at the Abundant Life Assembly. She's confident the presence of National Student Councils and student-led initiatives will have an impact in Barbadian schools. Ms. McConney says Barbados' education transformation continues.
