Ministry Says Respiratory Illnesses On The Rise

The Ministry of Health, is reporting an increase in flu-like illnesses over the past two months. Chief Medical Officer, Dr Sharon Belmar George says laboratory results from the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) confirm the presence of COVID variant, Omicron HV.1 in samples submitted by the Ezra Long Laboratory.
