As the third term, which concludes the academic year for primary and secondary schools, begins today, the Ministry of Education and Sports has warned schools against denying entry to learners who have not cleared fees and other requirements. Schools have reopened for a promotional term, with some concerns from parents over limited resources to keep their children in school, while some school administrators are concerned about the low capitation grant from the government, which is sometimes delayed. The State Minister for Primary Education, Dr. Joyce Moriku Kaducu, while inspecting some schools in Kampala earlier today, urged schools to be patient with the parents. At Kitante Primary School in Kampala, Kaducu stated that capitation grants will be released once the actual number of learners in each school is established. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
