Minster warns British Army would be worn down in 'six months to a year' in a major war
The entire British Army would be exhausted in "six months to a year" in a major war, a defence minister has claimed. Al Carns, the veterans minister, said the Ukraine war had shown the importance of having high numbers of reservists to bolster a full-time professional army. Russia is currently absorbing the deaths or injuries of around 1,500 soldiers a day.
