Mitigating changing climate patterns - CSOs call on Ugandans to embrace tree planting

Civil society organizations under the umbrella of Uganda Water and Sanitation Network are urging all Ugandans to commence tree planting activities nationwide to counteract the effects of shifting climate patterns and safeguard the environment. These CSOs have further called upon the government to enforce presidential directives aimed at prohibiting charcoal burning and settlements in swamp areas.
