MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY TO BE LAUNCHED WITHIN MONTHS – ICT MINISTER

Minister with responsiblity for Information and Communications Technology, Hon. Melford Nicholas expects Antiguans and Barbudans to be able to switch mobile phone companies while keeping their numbers, by the end of June this year. The minister provided the update on mobile number portability during Focal Point on ABS Radio 90.5FM on Monday. He explains the timeline has had to be adjusted because members of the team are assisting with preparations for the fourth Conference on Small Island Developing States, SIDS-4.
