MOH, AstraZeneca, Uganda Protestant Bureau launch extension of Healthy Heart Africa program

Minister for Health, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, has called upon the general public to always visit health facilities and check their blood pressure to avert the escalating burden of Non Communicable Diseases in the country. Aceng made the remarks during the launch of extension of the Healthy Heart Africa Program between the Ministry of Health, AstraZeneca, and Uganda Protestant Bureau. The programme is aimed at tackling the burden of chronic Kidney Disease- CKD, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases in the country.
