Mohammed al-Bashir appointed as Syria’s interim prime minister

Syria's new administration has appointed Mohammed al-Bashir as prime minister. He will be tasked with forming a transitional government. On Monday he met with the former prime minister, and the leader of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, to discuss the transfer of power.
