Mom murdered

Armed with a stick, a teenage boy tried desperately fend off the man who stabbed his mother to death. When it was too much he fled, taking his seven year-old brother with him to safety. Sadly, when he returned, he found his mother - Laura Sankar dead. She is the fourth domestic violence fatality this week.
