The Ugx closed 3916/3936, in the market, the local unit opened the week a touch weaker at 3910/3920 helped by some month-end inflows and Corporate demand. Bank of Uganda is scheduled to hold a Treasury Bill auction on Wednesday 13 March 2024. From the stock market, Today’s trading was dominated by Banking and telecom, 71 deals executed between the Bank of Baroda and MTN. Bank of Baroda moved 5 million shares, MTN moved 250 thousand shares, followed by SBU and UMEM.
