More children diagnosed with high myopia compared to a decade ago
The number of children in Singapore who have high myopia – defined as more than 500 degrees in each eye – has doubled compared to a decade ago. The Singapore National Eye Centre is also seeing children as young as six years old having to wear glasses. A decade ago, the average age was around 12. CNA’s Sabrina Ng reports.
