‘More work to do’: Liberals 'should be encouraged’ by Dunkley result

Liberal MP Aaron Violi says the Coalition should “be encouraged” by the result in Dunkley as there’s “more work to do”. Mr Violi’s comments come as Labor candidate Jodie Belyea won the Dunkley by-election against Liberal candidate Nathan Conroy. “We should definitely be encouraged by this result – there’s a lot of work still to do,” Mr Violi told Sky News Australia. “There’s more work to do and we know that, and we’ve acknowledged that. “We’ve now turned a safe Labor seat into a marginal seat.”
