Mother of adult son with cerebral palsy shares worries

“When I die, who’s going to look after you?” Madam June Lim, 73, worries about her 42-year-old son with cerebral palsy. The mother-son duo have looked into adult disability homes, but to Mdm Lim, nobody will understand or take care of Ernest’s needs as well as she does. “It will be easier if he goes first, so I can take care of him for the rest of his life. But I don’t think that will happen, so I need to start making plans,” she says.
