Mother of Canadian-Palestinian citizen journalist reported missing in Gaza speaks at Toronto rally

Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered downtown Toronto on Sunday for a rally. The mother of Canadian-Palestinian citizen journalist Mansour Shouman, who was allegedly abducted in Gaza last week, had a message for those in attendance. "This is the worst experience of my life,” Dr. Mai Hussein said. “Don't stop talking about Mansour until he comes back, promise me. Thank you all." Shouman, who is from Calgary, was working as a citizen journalist and aid worker in Gaza, was last heard from on Jan. 21. Global Affairs Canada says they are monitoring the situation.
