Mountain High Resort opens after wildfire threat

Opening day is here at Mountain High Resort. The big day comes about two months after flames from the Bridge Fire threatened the resort in Wrightwood. The fire was dangerously close to the resort’s lifts. The resort opened Friday to pass holders. It will open Saturday to the general public. A 100th anniversary celebration is planned for Dec. 7.
