‘Movie star’ Moira Deeming hits campaign trail ahead of Werribee by-election

Previously exiled Victorian Liberal Moira Deeming has been labelled a "movie star" as she joined new party leader Brad Battin on a by-election street walk. The warm reception happened as voters questioned the new state Opposition leader over taxes, crime, and the cost of living. Mr Battin told reporters on Tuesday that he wanted Ms Deeming to play a crucial part in helping the Liberals in next month's by-election in the Labor-held seat of Werribee.
