MP believes pension criteria should change

Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey believes the criteria for one to qualify for contributory pension should change. He referred to a case where a constituent fell two payments short of receiving his NIS benefit. Chief Executive Officer of the NIS Kim Tudor says in cases like that, a lump-sum one-off payment would be made to the individual.
