Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey believes the crime rate will fall in the coming years due to Government's policies. He was speaking at his annual Christmas party for constituents in St. Michael South. Among the moves made by Government in response to the crime situation are increasing the number of judges, introducing more stringent laws to deal with illegal guns and providing additional programmes for at risk youth. Minister Humphrey says the measures will have an impact. He also spoke about his portfolio, in his debrief of the year he believes it was a successful year.
