The Anti-Corruption High Court has, for the second time, dismissed the prosecution's request to play an audio recording by Uganda Human Rights Commission Chairperson Mariam Wangadya, which allegedly captured three legislators soliciting a 5% bribe. In his ruling, Judge Lawrence Gidudu stated that since the witness did not extract the audio from the recording device herself, she is not fit to present it in court at this time. He emphasized that it is not yet the appropriate stage for the court to listen to the recorded audio.
