MRT East-West line disruption: Expert shares insights into what could have happened

A train disruption that began on Wednesday (Sep 25) morning will continue into Thursday, with no trains running between Jurong East and Buona Vista stations, said SMRT. The issues began with a first-generation train that has been in service for more than 35 years.
