Mulago Children Cancer Ward - Upcoming colour run to address housing gaps

Limited bed capacity and inadequate housing at the Uganda Cancer Institute Mulago are crippling efforts to fight childhood cancer. The rigorous treatment regimen demands frequent hospital visits, yet many children and their caretakers struggle to find accommodation near the facility. In response, UCI is organizing the 3rd edition of the Childhood Cancer Run on MAY 18, 2025, to raise funds for a dedicated hostel. The facility aims to provide a safe haven for young cancer patients and their caregivers during treatment.
