Multi-faith thanksgiving service to mark Independence
Barbados will be giving praise as it celebrates its 58th anniversary with a National Independence Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 24. The multi-faith service, being held in conjunction with Barbados religious community, starts at 10 a.m., at Garfield Sobers Sports Complex in Wildey. It will be held under the theme, 'Stronger Together with Peace, Love and Unity'. Senator Patricia Parris of the organising committee says the service is open to the public and she has extended an invitation to all Barbadians to attend. Officiant for service, Dr. Winston Clarke says Barbados could not have reached this far without God's grace and mercy. He says there's much to give thanks for.
