Museveni opens Commonwealth speakers’ conference, resents imperialism.

President Yoweri Museveni has told a section of the developed western world to desist from tendencies of imposing policies on people that differ from theirs. Museveni’s call comes in the wake of recent concerns raised by western powers regarding the recent passing of the anti – homosexuality law in Uganda. While opening the 27th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth, Museveni described imperialism as backward and satanic urging those concerned to influence by example.
