Mwangaza accused of gross violation of the constitution

The senate has begun hearing the third impeachment motion against Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza. The governor denied the charges leveled against her, with her lawyers terming the motion to oust her ‘a manifesto of lies’. The county assembly, through its lead counsel Ndegwa Njiru, however maintained that Mwangaza had failed in her mandate to the people of Meru.
