MYDNS - Prior Learning And Assessment Recognition (PLAR) Programme

On the #NOWMorningShow, we're joined on set by representatives from the National Training Agency (NTA) and the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS) to tell us more about PLAR. PLAR stands for Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition. This powerful process validates and recognises the skills, knowledge and competencies gained through various learning experiences – informal, nonformal, or formal. With PLAR, skilled individuals without certification can achieve the Trinidad and Tobago National Vocational Qualification (TTNVQ) or the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ), which unlocks new career opportunities.
