NAM AND G77+CHINA SUMMITS PREPARATIONS: UGANDA 98% READY 120 DELEGATIONS CONFIRM PARTICIPATION

Uganda is 98% ready to host the NAM and G77+China summits. The head of public diplomacy, ministry of foreign affairs Amb. Dr. Sam Omara says by Friday this week Uganda will have achieved the remaining 2%. To date 120 delegations have confirmed participation with three delegates being observer groups. Twenty five ministers of foreign affairs have confirmed participation. As regards media accreditation 98 international journalist and 273 local journalists have so far been accredited and the exercise is still ongoing.
