Name change, upgrades planned for Cheapside terminal

A name change and extensive upgrades are on the cards for the Cheapside terminal in the City. Transport Authority officials, including its Chairman, Marie Theodore met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Works, Santia Bradshaw and and top MTW officials to review preliminary plans for what will be the new Seaview Terminal. The Barbados Police Service was also privy to a first-hand look at the plans and had the opportunity to advise on security regarding the proposed terminal. Minister Bradshaw says discussions had been ongoing for several years regarding the upgrade to the facility.
