Nandi senator Samson Cherargei defends President Ruto for the delay to set up IEBC

In a much rather expected rebuttal by one of his close allies, Nandi senator Samson Cherargei has come out to defend President William Ruto following accusations by Supreme Court Justice Issac Lenaola on the government’s continued delay to set up IEBC. The commission setup has been a topic of concern following the conclusion and submission of the NADCO report which stipulated proposals on how it should be done with no substantial progress 2 years later.
