Nation Update: $1.8 Million richer

The stars aligned for Mark Forde, who is now $1.8 million richer. Accompanied by his mother Isylma Forde, the new millionaire was presented with his congratulatory cheque yesterday at the Rubis Gas Station in Market Hill, St George, where he bought his winning Barbados Lottery Mega 6 ticket. Forde, who said he occasionally tried his luck with lotteries, was shocked to discover he had become a millionaire. A welder and engineer by trade, he builds burglar bars and fencing, a business which he planned to invest in with his new earnings. (Video by Reco Moore)
