Nation Update: Ban all guns

The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados is calling for a nationwide ban on the importation and sale of toy guns. General secretary Dennis de Peiza said toy guns were a gateway to the real thing, as he added “practice makes perfect”. De Peiza was speaking yesterday during the association’s monthly media conference at the Barbados Union of Teachers, Merry Hill, Welches Road, St Michael. He said it did not matter if the toy shot bubbles, they were all to be banned. (Video by Jameel Springer)
