Nation Update: BHTA Outlook

Barbados’ hotel room stock is expected to be significantly increased next year, with two new hotels both scheduled to be opened in March. The 132-room Hotel Indigo, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group chain, which is now in an advanced stage of construction on Hastings Main Road, Christ Church, and the 28-suite boutique Blue Monkey Hotel and Beach Club at Paynes Bay Beach, St James, are expected to be the new additions to the island’s hotel stock early next year.
