Nation Update: Cautions over zone switching

Parents who are contemplating changing their addresses to be placed in a “better zone” ahead of this year’s Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination (BSSEE) have been asked to refrain from making that change. If they do so, simply to be placed in the most popular Zone Three, they will place the children residing in the zone at a disadvantage. Education officer with the Ministry of Education Donna Roberts gave that advice during a town hall meeting on the BSSEE at the Alexandra School, Speightstown, St Peter.
