Nation Update: DLP Annual Conference 2024

The Democratic Labour Party may resolve its internal conflict at the upcoming 69th Annual Conference where a resolution might be passed to elect a new president and general secretary. This possibility was disclosed during a press conference yesterday at the party’s George Street, Belleville, St Michael headquarters to launch the August 23-25 conference. Acting president Andre Worrell said that while resolutions were in place to address the ongoing issues, the process remained under the control of the General Council until the annual conference.
