Nation Update: DLP council deem no-confidence motion invalid

Democratic Labour Party (DLP) president Dr Ronnie Yearwood has survived the latest challenge to his leadership. Last night, following a marathon meeting of the Executive Council, held at the party’s George Street, St Michael headquarters, it was determined that a no-confidence motion brought by longstanding member Hartley Reid was invalid. It ruled that some of the names affixed to the motion were not members of the party while some had no knowledge that their names were being used. (Video by Reco Moore)
