Nation Update: Drains cleared along West Coast

Last night, a nine-member team from the Drainage Unit cleared some of the outfalls at Speightstown, St Peter; Fitts Village, St James and Brandons, St Michael. Over time, the flow of water is restricted by the buildup of sand and they have to be cleared periodically. The team was deployed as part of the preparation for Hurricane Beryl.
