Nation Update: Get moving

The Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) launched its Get Moving Initiative yesterday at Braemar Court, Deighton Road, St Michael, aiming to tackle the rising tide of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Barbados. It focuses on promoting physical activity and healthier lifestyles in the workplace as a means of combating NCDs, which have become a leading cause of death and a significant burden on the country's economy.
