Nation Update: Local Artistes help with donations

As the Salvation Army rallies to reach the main goal for their Annual Christmas Kettle Drive, Popular local artistes Adrian 'Blood Armstrong and Mikey Mercer brought their star power help with donations. The duo stationed at the entrance of Massy Supermarket in Warrens, St. Michael, and appealed for donations to the cause. With only a few days left till their December 24th deadline, the Salvation Army are short of their $850,000 goal, having raised 580,000 so far. Speaking with the SUNDAY SUN, Divisional Business Manager Sherma Evelyn said the appeal was short of $320,000 but were hopeful that they will be closer to their goal by the due date.
