Nation Update: Pleased with growth of tourism sector

Tourism officials are pleased with the growth of the sector. Minister of Tourism and International Transport Ian Gooding-Edghill gave that assessment as the country welcomed Delta’s inaugural flight from New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK). In November, Delta returned to Barbados for the first time in several years on a direct flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Gooding-Edghill said the US flights would only help to enhance the numbers. (Video by Reco Moore)
