Nation Update: Road works in Arthur Seat
The Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) is stepping up its efforts to rehabilitate Barbados’ road infrastructure. During a media site visit at work which started yesterday at Arthur Seat, St Thomas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Works Santia Bradshaw outlined the ongoing and soon-to- start projects, adding the aim was to capitalise on the dry season. Bradshaw also said work on Crab Hill to Archers Bay, St Lucy had begun. In addition, she said work from Shop Hill to Content as well as in Proute, all in St Thomas, was set to begin soon. However, those roads fall under the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) project. MP for St. Thomas Cynthia Forde said she is elated work has started in Arthur Seat.
