Nation Update: Sandals facing lawsuit

Sandals Hotel could be hit with a class action lawsuit by several frustrated residents of Dover, Christ Church over the operations of its laundry. For the past eight years residents at 4th Avenue, Dover have been complaining repeatedly about the loud, continuous, humming noise emitting from the laundry; the circulation of lint and fumes and more recently a toxic odour. After writing numerous letters to management of the fivestar luxury hotel as well as the Environmental Protection Department (EPD); the Ministry of Health; the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of the Environment, to no avail, they have hired an attorney to file a lawsuit.(Video by Maria Bradshaw)
