Nation Update: Youth encouraged to Go Green

Many of the island’s youth innovators have been encouraged to pave a path towards a sustainable and greener Barbados. Director of Youth Affairs Cleviston Hunte made the call on Monday during his remarks at the inaugural Barbados Youth Green Tech Expo, held at Hilton Barbados Resort. Coinciding on Caribbean Youth Day 2024, the Barbados Youth Green Tech Expo was aimed to inspire and empower youth to address the environmental challenges faced by Small Island Developing States.
